We're raffling off 2 of our slings. Each season our owner chooses 2 slings to keep for herself, as marketing tools. She's made her new selections and is grudgingly parting with her Spring/Summer accessories.

One gently used Summer Breeze Silk Baby Sling in excellent condition. Gorgeous and perfect any time of year, this sling is definitely unmatched. Still in excellent condition with very few snags (none noticeable), clean and shiney (hand washed in Woolite only), this is the prototype sling in the photos on our site. It has been modified, however, to the somewhat shorter length spoken of in the description. We had a customer write us with a wonderful idea if it still ends up being too long. She looped the tail back up and around through the ring hole, disguising the rings, "making it look like I'm much more talented than I really am." Read more about this sling here

One gently used Chinese Lilac Mei Tai in excellent condition.This Mei Tai has created quite a stir in the realm of abc (Asian Baby Carrier) admirers. It is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly comfortable, and more functional than any carrier we've ever seen. With our new instructional guide, complete with photos, (coming December 13th) you will be able to simply carry your newborn or your 5 year old with ease. Described to be able to carry up to 40 lbs, we've seen photos of a 115 lb woman riding in one (for demostration purposes). We can't in good legality recommend it, of course, but we'll mention that it has been done. Read more about the Mei Tai here

This carrier has no snags, but it does have some recent "defects". It was hand washed in Woolite, only. The brocade fabric… changed, after washing. Because it is a silk/rayon blend, the rayon weave became lightly visible through the silk fabric. So the silk is not smooth anymore, it now appears slightly wavy. See detail photo below. It is still very shiny and beautiful, and at a distance of about 1 foot or so you can not see the waves. Also, it appears the padding in the straps had some kind of dye in the edges. Some light pink color has bled through to the silk dupioni in 2 spots on the top straps. It is very light in color and completely unnoticeable unless you are looking for it. We just wanted to be completely accurate in our description of the product.

Buy as many raffle tickets as you'd like. Buy 1 ticket for each sling, 10 tickets for 1 sling, 1 ticket for you and 1 for a friend, whatever you'd like! It's all going to a good cause (several good causes, actually). The procedes from the raffle will be split between the 3 charities to which we donate. Read more about our charities here.

Your order ID will be your ticket number. If you order more than one ticket for either or both slings, you will have that many chances to win. The raffle will be held until December 13th. On the 13th a winner will be randomly chosen for each of the slings, the winner will be notified by email, and the slings will be shipped to the shipping address entered at checkout when purchasing the raffle tickets, unless otherwise noted. These slings qualify for the free gift wrapping promotion, so if you would like them gift wrapped and/or shipped directly to the recipient, check Gift Wrap at checkout and enter the gift recipient's info for the shipping name and address at checkout. Also, please include any additional info and instructions in the Special Instructions box at checkout.

If a sling does not sell at least 6 raffle tickets the raffle will be cancelled, the slings sold at auction, and the purchasers refunded.
